On December 22nd, 2010 official opening inauguration of the Life Science Park and Incubator in Krakow was celebrated. Jagiellonian Center of Innovation (JCI) investment confirms that Malopolska region is consequently fulfilling the plan of making the region one of the strongest center of bio-business in Poland and Central Europe. Technology Park building I is the response to the demand expressed by the national and international companies for the life science sector, with a special need for laboratory space and research and development support facilities. Opening ceremony was jointly organized along with conference talks, which gave such distinguished speakers as prof. rev. Michal K. Heller, recipient of a prestigious Templeton Prize, given to those who break barriers between science and religion. Talks gave also Andrzej Rys the director of European Commission department of health and customer protection, and Pawel Blachno. |
